This very early 19th-century New England chair table is constructed with white pine and other hardwoods. The beautiful table boasts its original red paint and has a fantastic scrubbed top.
The four-board pine top with generous overhang allows for comfortable seating. The table pivots on a rear top-rail and rests on arms with shaped handholds. The handhold rails sit on top of turned, block posts, which are joined by the seat above a plain apron. The table is raised on turned feet.
